The Gateway Academy is part of the larger Gateway Learning Community (GLC): a partnership of local primary and secondary schools committed to working together to achieve the highest educational standards for the whole community and is a friendly school that values teamwork and high achievement in all areas of our work with young people.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced highly motivated, enthusiastic, and dynamic teacher of Science. The candidates applying for this post should be hardworking professionals committed to thorough lesson planning, enthusiastic delivery and careful assessment.
The Science Faculty is recognised as one the strengths of the academy in relation to teaching and results. The faculty team is made up of experienced, highly committed and talented individuals whose aim it is to provide outstanding teaching and learning for all our students. There are plenty of opportunities for further development within the department and the wider learning community.
