We are seeking to recruit a teacher to join our highly committed Geography team. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a commitment to improving student outcomes across the age and ability range and be highly motivated and committed to the very highest standards. Applications are welcome from people at any stage of their career and we have excellent training and career progression opportunities. The department continues to grow due to the popularity of Geography at Key Stage 4 and increasing curriculum time at KS3.
The Geography Department is well resourced and has seen significant recent investment including, iPads for all staff, Apple TV in every room and innovative classroom redesign. Learning outside the classroom is an important part of the work of the department. Recent trips include a visit to Iceland and fieldwork visits across the South East.
The school offers a comprehensive induction programme for all new staff and a strong commitment to continuing staff development and training through the Teaching School.
