Hatfield Peverel Infant School is looking for a talented, inspiring and energetic new Headteacher to join the school from January 2017. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and innovative teacher who has aspirations to lead a successful school, its children and staff on an academic and personal journey of continuous improvement and development.
Due to the retirement of our current Headteacher from a leadership role, our children, staff, parents and governors are looking for a candidate who can be an exceptional leader with the confidence, assertiveness and drive to take the school from a 'Good' to 'Outstanding' rating with Ofsted.
You will have:
• leadership and management skills and be able to demonstrate a clear vision of excellence for the future of our school
• a vibrant personality and a clear means of communicating with staff, pupils, parents and governors
• the ability to motivate, challenge and support and to work as part of an organised team
• a commitment to strategic thinking and planning to ensure the best attainment for each child
• a desire to build upon the school's achievements to date
• a growth mind-set with the confidence to consider and explore school improvement initiatives as well as the opportunities that may arise to seek closer partnerships in an ever changing educational landscape.

Hatfield Peverel Infant and Nursery School is a two form entry established school in the village of Hatfield Peverel and has easy access to the A12 and a train station within walking distance. We have a wonderful team of staff, Governors and supportive families who all help the children to be safe and happy. It is our aim to make sure that all members of our school community are supported and feel included and valued.
