Learning Support Assistant - 2 positions available - required September 2016
1. 37 hours per week, term time only.
2. Up to 25 hours per week, term time only.
Enthusiastic, efficient, organised team players are required to join our committed staff. We are looking to appoint two experienced Learning Support Assistants to support able students who have a variety of challenging needs who will be joining the school in September.
Experience of working with visually impaired students or students with additional needs e.g. ASD, is desirable but not essential. Good ICT skills are required to support students' learning.
This appointment will be for a fixed term contract linked to the student(s) being on roll at Colchester County High School for Girls. (Job share will be considered).

Information about the School
Colchester County High School for Girls is part of Alpha Trust. It is a selective state school for academically able students aged from 11 to 18 years which consistently achieves public examination results at the highest level and Ofsted "Outstanding". Admission to the school is via the 11+ examination in Year 7; the school also admits academic students into the Sixth Form. The school is lead for the North East Essex Teaching School Alliance and Colchester Teacher Training Consortium is based on the site. Situated a mile to the west of central Colchester, the school is set in its own extensive grounds on a large, quiet campus.
