Outreach Tutors (Supply Contract or Self-employed)
Salary: £20 - £35 per hour (contact time only), depending on qualifications and experience + mileage
We are seeking qualified teachers, Teaching Assistants, HLTAs, Learning Mentors, or Tutors with SEN experience or with therapeutic training/experience to work throughout Essex. We support children from KS1 to post-16 that have various special needs including SEMH, ASD, MLD and SLD on our Outreach Provision.
You will be expected to develop a good rapport with pupils in order to support them so will have an understanding of SEN, be dynamic and proactive, with strong behaviour management, having had previous experience of working with pupils with challenging behaviour. There will be a requirement to plan lessons and activities.
You will be required to travel to work one to one in a community setting (or occasionally in the home) and ideally have a minimum of three days availability. This is a term-time only position without guaranteed hours on a Supply Contract. Tutors are only paid for contact hours.

Must have experience of UK curriculum, a clean driving licence and be prepared to travel throughout Essex
