VICE PRINCIPAL-Responsible for: Developing Outstanding Teaching & Learning, Training, and Line Management of Faculty Leaders


Legra Trust (made up of three Academies, Belfairs, Cecil Jones and Darlinghurst) is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed individual as a Vice Principal based at Cecil Jones Academy that can provide leadership that secures the highest standards of achievement and attainment for all of our students along with an ability to think strategically and fulfil the vision of the school.
The successful candidate will provide the inspirational and motivational leadership in line with expectations of the Academy; maintain a focus on improving the quality and consistency of teaching and learning, assessment and feedback and continue to raise pupil aspirations by broadening their horizons and making them responsible for their learning
You will have a good degree, and will have at least two years' experience of successful Senior Leadership at Assistant Vice Principal/Principal level or above which can be evidenced through outcomes in your areas of responsibility. You will also be an outstanding communicator with the ability to engage with and motivate staff, students, and parents/carers.
Pay range: Leadership scale dependent on experience. Required for September 2016 Closing date for applications: Monday 22nd February 2016 Interviews to take place in March
