Chase High School is a new academy and forms part of the Brentwood Academy Trust in partnership with St Martin's School, Brentwood. We are seeking to appoint a new teacher of Science and the main requirements are excellent subject knowledge, a passion for your subject, and the ability to teach a love of learning as well as a love for Science. The successful candidate will be required for an April 2016 start. This is suitable for new and experienced teachers. Staff are able to choose modules from a flexible professional development programme and study them at times that suit them. Our sixth form provision is housed in a new, purpose built centre; we are excited by the opportunity to expand and develop this aspect of our work. Westcliff is a vibrant seaside town just a short rail journey from both Southend and London, and very close to London Southend Airport. Chase High School is a mixed, mainstream secondary school located in Westcliff-on-Sea
, near Southend, Essex. It educates more than 1,000 students aged 11-18 from over 40 countries. Since 2011, the school has had a sixth form.
Chase High School was built more than 100 years ago and recently secured academy status under the Discovery Educational Trust. The secondary school continues to be involved in the community, forging local and international partnerships
