Teaching Assistant required 5 days (20 hours per week). The role requires learning support to be provided to an individual pupil, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 10.30am and 3.00pm.
We are looking for a creative, dynamic, caring, enthusiastic and motivated Classroom Assistant to join our friendly, dedicated team to provide support for a pupil with Social and Emotional difficulties.
This person will need to work under the direction of the Class Teacher and the SENCO. Support will need to be provided over playtimes and lunchtimes. This post is on a fixed term contract linked to the child.
The successful applicant will need to have:
~ at least Maths and English GCSE Grade A-C,
~ a good basic education a firm flexible approach.
~ Be able to work alongside others in the classroom
~ Be able to work with parents and other professionals from outside of school
~ Be able to think on their feet and adapt to changing situations quickly
Salary scale Band 2 (Pt 3 -10 depending on experience).
This post requires an enhanced DBS check.
