Administrative Officer - 24 hours per week
We are looking for an organised, friendly and reliable person to join our hardworking office team. This position forms part of a job share and is for 24 hours per week, 8.30-5.30pm (Monday, Tuesday and Friday).
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent written, numeracy and oral communication skills
- The ability to relate to all members of our school community in a calm and sympathetic manner
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently, prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines
- Excellent IT skills with experience of SIMs
- A flexible approach to daily tasks
Duties will include:
- Supporting our busy office, answering phone calls and parent queries
- Checking registers for pupil attendance and working with the Headteacher to monitor attendance across the school.
- Taking responsibility for school trips (booking coaches, letter writing, collecting monies etc...)
- Uploading the school newsletter to our school website.
