We are looking to appoint a Headteacher to lead and shape the development of Epping St. John's CofE VC School at an exciting point in its history. Located in a new state-of-the-art building in 2014, with a 6th Form due to open in September 2015, you will be instrumental in delivering the vision of making Epping St. John's the first choice school for parents and students alike.

With this in mind, Governors invite applications from candidates who are sympathetic with the Christian ethos of the school and who are suitably qualified and experienced for the post of Headteacher. Epping St. John's is committed to providing a high quality education by raising and sustaining standards and outcomes for all students, by developing a high achieving 6th Form and by recruiting, motivating and retaining the highest quality staff.

You should be a recognised leader with an outstanding track record in secondary education and experience of managing 6th Forms. You should have the drive and enthusiasm to build on and manage a high performing team to take Epping St John's forward.

Expenses up to a maximum of £100 will be reimbursed for costs incurred by shortlisted candidates.

Relocation expenses up to £8,000 will be considered for eligible candidates, subject to terms and conditions.
