Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion To start September 2015 Salary Leadership Scale L5 to L9 (£42,175 to £46,555)
Following the promotion of our present post-holder we are seeking a committed and experienced person to inspire, develop and continue the excellent work of our superb Inclusion Team within the school.
This is an exciting opportunity; the role is of key importance in leading the school to outstanding and would suit someone who aspires to a challenging, but highly enjoyable and rewarding position within the Senior Leadership Team.

The successful candidate will be someone with resilience, drive, passion for championing vulnerable children and bags and bags of energetic good humour.

They will also:
· Be an outstanding teacher so as to fully understand how to develop effective learning behaviours throughout the school

· Be capable of leading teams, having had some whole school leadership experience

· Have evidence of continuous professional development within the scope of Inclusion/SEN

· Be a dynamic and visionary leader capable of making a difference for all groups of vulnerable children.

· Be accountable for the school's Pupil Premium spending and evaluation.

· It would also be desirable to have some sort of Post Graduate professional development, or continuous professional development in SEN/ Inclusion/ leadership, or an evidenced interest in action-research.
