Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Required September 2015 - earlier appointment by negotiation
27 hours 55 minutes per week - 8:30am to 3:20pm
(1 hour for lunch and a 15 minute comfort break)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring person to work with teachers as part of a professional team to support learning activities for classes. The primary focus will be to work under the professional direction of a teacher and within an agreed system of supervision in delivering lessons set by or with teachers and/or support pupils undertaking lessons delivered via distance learning or computer aided techniques.
The post will involve the following duties:
- Working on your own initiative and within a team
- Organise and manage an appropriate learning environment including classroom displays
- Play your part in ensuring that every child makes maximum progress
- Working with small groups of Pupil Premium children
Experience of working in a class environment is preferred but all applications are welcome.
