Harlow Fields is a 3-19 provision for children who progress into being students in our Upper School and College. One of the special schools aligned to the Essex Special School Education Trust, Harlow Fields is working in collaboration with other similar schools as well as main stream schools in it's own locality. We have a dedication to achievement for our pupils and the professional development of our staff. We have recently been accredited by Investors in People.
Our pupils enjoy learning and our parents and carers are pleased with the caring and challenging ethos of our learning environment. We can offer a challenging opportunity for a mature school leader who will be able to build on the foundations laid by our last Head Teacher who was with us for 7 years.
We can offer a school with strong child-centred values and a well thought out behaviour policy. The Senior Leadership Team and Governing Body are strong and supportive of the whole school aims.
We are seeking a successful candidate who will:

· Have the confidence, vision and capability to inspire staff and pupils
· Be able to communicate effectively and be experienced in leading development that is well founded and successful.
Visits to the school are encouraged with applicants being welcomed by a member of the Governing Body.
