Job Description

A vacancy has arisen to join our dedicated team in Foundation Stage and includes 1:1 support for an ASD child

The successful applicants will be able to demonstrate

· The ability to communicate with other members of staff , especially the SENCo

· The flexibility to work the hours according to the child's needs.

· The ability to build a strong professional relationship with the child and the family and outside agencies and to attend professional meetings where required

· A willingness to take part in class planning and adapt it to the needs of the child where applicable to ensure there is progress

· Some knowledge / experience of Autistic Spectrum Disorder

· The enthusiasm to develop your own skills through further training

· Good organisational skills

· Excellent literacy skills and some ICT skills to ensure assessments are updated and progress recorded to meet given deadlines
