We are a small school where "the achievement of pupils, the leadership and management, the quality of teaching, and the behaviour and safety of pupils are all outstanding".
We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring person to join our friendly and dedicated team. You will be an existing HLTA or experienced classroom Teaching Assistant with a good track record. You will be hard working, and will be encouraged to use your initiative. You will work across the school as needed. The ideal candidate will be able to teach and cover classes. Relevant training and support will be given to support teaching as needed.
Visits to the school are positively encouraged and welcome.

The Hearts Academy Trust is made up of The Wickford Church of England School, an outstanding school (OFSTED 2013) and Briscoe Primary, a good school with outstanding leadership and management (OFSTED July 14). We are now looking for an outstanding teacher who can excite learning, model practice and lead others with their passion and commitment.
The teaching and achievement of children at The Wickford Church of England School is outstanding. In 2014 Key stage one pupils at Briscoe met national expectations at all levels and pupils are increasingly reaching higher levels. The achievement at Briscoe works as part of the HEARTS Academy Trust and is now a partner in the Wickford Teaching School alliance.
