Deputy Headteacher L20 - 24

Start Date: Easter 2015 (or earlier if possible)

The Governors at Cornelius Vermuyden are seeking to appoint an exceptional teacher and inspirational leader to join our senior team due to the promotion of the existing Deputy Headteacher.

The successful candidate will have creativity and dynamism to develop outstanding and innovative classroom practice.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an oversubscribed, brand new, purpose built school, located in 38 acres of land.

Cornelius Vermuyden is a highly successful school and recently achieved 'Good' from Ofsted (June 2012). The school has a national reputation for innovative educational practice using our state of the art facilities, which include an Immersive Room, Superlab, Amphitheatre and an Hypothesis Room. The school also boasts a purpose built Teacher Training Room for sharing practice. Our students are hard working and friendly and last year achieved 98% in GCSE exams.
