The governors are seeking to appoint an experienced and organised Administrative Assistant to work in the office alongside the School Business Manager and Administrative Officer. The key duties will include:

  • Maintenance of the Attendance and Dinner Registers;
  • Responsibility for collating school dinners each morning for the kitchen;
  • Collection and recording of dinner monies;
  • Preparation of banking and paying in at local bank;
  • Administration of Petty Cash;
  • Sickness / Absence administration;
  • Booking training workshops / courses;
  • Checking delivery notes / supplier statements;
  • Processing invoices;
  • Undertaking certain HR administration functions;

Hours of Work:Daily 0830 to 1230 - 20 hours per week. Term time plus 5 Inset Days.

Applicants will need to be computer literate, have good inter-personal skills and be able to work as part of a small team. Experience of working in a school office would be beneficial. In return, we offer the following: ·
