HEADTEACHER
St. James' Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School, Harlow
Required from April 2015 or earlier
Group 2 NOR 195 Salary L15 - 21
An enhanced salary of up to 25%, to be reviewed annually, may be available dependent on experience and expertise.
The Interim Executive Board are seeking to appoint a headteacher who can continue to move this rapidly improving Special Measures School towards Good.
It is planned that the school will convert to academy status within the Chelmsford Diocesan Multi Academy Trust early next year.

We need someone who has:
- Proven experience as an outstanding primary practitioner and who is committed to quality first teaching.
- High expectations of children's learning and behaviour.
- A high level of emotional intelligence and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Energy, enthusiasm and a flexible approach, with the ability to look upon demands as an opportunity to be positive and inspirational.
- The ability to support lead and develop our Christian ethos.
- A belief in inclusion, diversity and access and the right of each pupil to maximize their potential whatever their needs and abilities.
- Drive and ambition.
- The necessary skills to secure rapid and sustained improvement.
