READING TEACHING ASSISTANT

Required for November 2014

Fixed term contract until 31^st August 2015

Band 2 point 3 - 10 (6038 - £7250 actual salary)

18 hours 45 minutes per week (10.45am-3.00pm Monday-Friday with half an hour lunch break each day)

This is an exciting new position reflecting our commitment to ensure all children develop a real love of learning. The successful candidate will support our disadvantaged children with their reading through the delivery of our daily Read Write Inc programme and a range of interventions, both 1 to 1 and small group.

We are a two form entry primary school and nursery set in extensive grounds on the periphery of Ockendon Village. Our school is only a 3 minute walk from South Ockendon station which is on the C2C Fenchurch to Shoeburyness line and within easy reach (5 minutes) of the A13 and A127 into London/Southend and the Dartford Bridge.
