Learning Support Assistant
£10,015 - £11,276 actual salary per annum 30.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year Maltings Academy is an oversubscribed specialist Sports and Science Academy in Witham, Essex. We have a state of the art building offering fantastic facilities for both students and staff alike. Maltings Academy is a key member of Academies Enterprise Trust (AET), a multi-academy sponsor which aims to provide the opportunity for all young learners to fulfil their real potential, broaden their horizons and become active, prosperous and successful citizens in the world around them.

We are looking to appoint two Learning Support Assistants on a permanent basis, to support students with learning difficulties / disabilities in mainstream classes and small groups in order that students with SEN achieve their full potential.

The successful candidates will have excellent literacy and numeracy skills including Maths and English GCSE or equivalent, and will be educated to minimum Level 3. You will be a good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as good IT skills. The hours of work are Monday 8.30am-3.30pm and Tuesday to Friday 8.30am-3pm, term time only.
