Site Officer LGPS Band 2 £14,880-£15,882 The King John School is a heavily oversubscribed 11-18 mixed comprehensive of 1900 students, of which 350 are in the sixth form. In 2013, we were one of the highest performing schools in the country. The school enjoys an excellent reputation, and has been graded at the end of September 2013 as 'Outstanding', based on the new Ofsted Criteria, across all key areas. We are looking for individuals who will contribute to a successful premises team who support this ethos. Could you be the person we are looking for? We are looking to recruit a site officer who will work alongside the Senior Site Officer on a one week in three rolling shift pattern. The ideal candidate would contribute to the smooth running of the school by carrying out a range of caretaking duties including security and supervision of the site along with other caretaking duties including general porterage and maintenance. We are looking for someone who is confident, enthusiastic and has a good knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety Legislation including all aspects of manual handling.
