Nursery Learning Support Assistant - Band 2 .11 5 days per week term time only + 5 inset days Start: 8.45 am Finish: 3.30 pm Lunch: 11.45 - 12.30 Required: As soon as possible Fixed term contract - SEN funded.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and caring individual to join our committed and hardworking team and work on a one to one basis with a pupil in our morning nursery and a pupil in our afternoon nursery. This will be a fixed term contract for the duration of the time that the pupils remain in our Early Years setting. Experience in Early Years is desirable but not essential.
The successful candidates must
- have good literacy and numeracy skills, preferably with GCSE Literacy and Numeracy grades A-C and hold an NVQ level 2 in childcare and education or equivalent
- have experience within a nursery or school setting
- support students with literacy, numeracy and social, emotional needs
- excellent communication skills
- have good organisational and interpersonal skills
- be able to use their own initiative.
