Due to the promotion of our greatly valued deputy headteacher we are looking to appoint a successor to work in our rapidly improving and happy community, someone who shares our passion for putting the child into the heart of the school. Our pupils tell us that they "really enjoy their time at school" and several say about the school "it is fun, the teachers are helpful and nice".
We are looking for some who:
- is an inspirational and outstanding teacher
- is always eager to develop and improve both their own practice and that of the school.
- shares our passion for excellence and who enjoys the fund and challenge of teaching.
- has a positive solution focused attitude and an ability for strategic thinking.
- makes good relationships and respects the strengths and contributions of others in the team.
- experienced in the analysis and use of data.
- able to lead the school.

- Ready to relish the challenge of developing a new approach to assessment in response to national changes.

Parsons Heath School - rated GOOD by Ofsted - is an average sized school serving a residential area in Colchester, with a number of pupils from outside the catchment area. Pupils come from a wide range of social and economic backgrounds. The school has links with its parish church. The school has attained a National Healthy Schools Award, Bronze Eco Award and Activemark.
