The Governors of Oakfield Primary School are seeking to recruit an exceptional Head Teacher to lead our successful community school.
Oakfield Primary School is a group 3 school in Wickford, with 420 pupils on role. The school was rated Good at the last OFSTED inspection "with outstanding behaviour and safety of pupils". Our current Head Teacher is retiring at year-end, providing a fantastic opportunity to the right candidate to continue and further build on our successes.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership and organisational skills, engaging with pupils and staff on a daily basis to inspire all to achieve their potential. The Governing body will continue to work closely to support the successful candidate in delivering our vision, which is to unlock the potential of every child. Governors are actively involved in all elements of school life with pupils and staff alike, and have a strong connection to the Friends of Oakfield, our Parents association who successfully organise and deliver high-quality events throughout the year.
