Full-Time Teaching Assistant
New Essex Pay Scale 3
Point 4-5, depending on experience
Required: September 2022
5 days per week
We are looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to be part of our caring, competent and friendly team of support staff. The successful candidate will be required to work full time, five days per week. The role is a classroom based TA, working with children in Early Years Foundation Stage (Reception).
Day to Day you will:
· be involved with interventions within the classroom to support our Quality First teaching
· work one-to-one with pupils to ensure that they're getting the most of out what's being taught in the classroom
Candidates must have:
· A good educational background including at least GCSE grade C or above in English and Mathematics and ideally, NVQ Level 2 Supporting Children in Education.
· Experience of working with children in an educational setting, preferably EYFS.
You should also be prepared to work in partnership with the class teacher, taking direction while also using your own initiative and be firm, kind, patient, consistent, flexible and approachable.
