We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual to join our team to work as a classroom Learning Support Assistant from September 2022. The role is for 25 hours per week for the 38 weeks of term time only. The working hours are from 9:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 15:00 from Monday to Friday. The post is paid at Scale 3, with an actual annual starting salary of £10,759.

The LSA role involves:

  • Working under the guidance of a class teacher to deliver planned learning activities and interventions;
  • Promoting and supporting positive behaviour;
  • Monitoring and recording pupil progress and providing feedback to children as necessary;
  • Working constructively as part of a wider team in the classroom and the school; working flexibly to support other team members as required and building positive relationships with staff and parents.

We are looking for someone with good literacy and numeracy skills, and you must have a GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths at grade A to C.
