A vacancy has arisen for an LSA role within our thriving school.
LSA Post in class: Band 3 points 4-5 (April 2020 bands)
21 hours 25 minutes per week term time only, 8.35 am - 12.00 Monday to Friday am and from 1.00 pm - 3.10 pm two days per week.
Pastoral lunchtime support: Band 3 points 4-5 (April 2020 bands) 12.00 - 12.30 Mon - Friday, term time only.
Total hours: 23 Hours 55 minutes Combined salary - £10,092.49 - £10,294.51

Queen Boudica Primary School is a thriving and successful two-form entry primary school situated on the north side of Colchester. We offer modern, well-resourced learning environments and our pupils are well mannered, dynamic and motivated to learn.
Due to the relocation of a member of our team, Queen Boudica Primary School is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to be deployed across all primary phases according to requirements. Whilst the LSA role is primarily for a general classroom LSA, there may be occasions when work to support an individual pupil 1:1 is required. Experience of working with children, a good standard of education (Level 2/GCSE level minimum) and a strong commitment to making a real difference to children's learning and wellbeing is essential.
The LSA post is for 21 hours 25 minutes per week during term time (hours as listed above). The role also includes pastoral support at lunchtimes for our vulnerable children. This is usually from 12.00 - 12.30. You will be offered strong support from friendly colleagues and professional development opportunities to enable you to extend your existing skill set. We are committed to providing a well-balanced curriculum to all children and part of this role will include support for children with a variety of SEND needs: experience in this field would be an advantage.
