Assistant Principal

Leadership Scale L12-L16

Start Easter or September 2021

A once in a career opportunity to work in a brand new, state of the art £34 million school.

This is a genuinely unique opportunity to take on a founding role at the first 'all through' school in Essex.

The Beaulieu Park School opened the doors to 60 Reception children in September 2018. In September 2019, another cohort were welcomed into the Primary School, together with 180 Year 7 students. We were pleased again this year that we were heavily oversubscribed with families nominating us as their first choice school. Now with 540 students, our school will grow one year at a time until it is full in 2024. We are already planning our 6th form provision.

We are looking to appoint an Assistant Principal (Behaviour, Welfare and Safety) - to join the Principal and Senior Leadership Team and to work with them to ensure the school continues on its incredibly successful journey. This is a whole school role and you will oversee all of our children Age 4-18.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner who has a successful record of success and enhancing the learning, experiences and personal growth of their students. They will be reflective, excited by taking risks, and accepting that failure is a part of the learning process. They will promote lifelong learning through their constant drive to improve their own practice, as well as supporting those they lead to develop their skills. They will believe passionately in the importance of education for all children, refusing to accept that disadvantage or SEND should limit ambition or potential.

This role will suit an existing Assistant Principal/Assistant Headteacher, excited by the prospect of a new and unique challenge, or an experienced middle leader, ready for their next career step. Specific responsibilities are outlined in the Job Description. We welcome applications from both Primary and Secondary colleagues.

If you would like an informal conversation with the Principal (on the phone or virtually), please contact Mrs Baggott on 01245 943500 or email kbaggott@beaulieuparkschool.com
