Berlesduna Academy Trust has an exciting opportunity for an IT Technician to join the team to support schools in Basildon, South Woodham Ferrers, Rawreth and Canewdon.

The position is 37 hours per week, 41 weeks per year.

Salary Band 3, Point 8 (within range 8-11). Actual Salary £18,331 per annum, plus paid mileage & mobile phone.

Berlesduna Academy Trust is based in Basildon and currently comprises seven primary schools as well as a Teacher Training Partnership and Autism Hub. The Trust is growing rapidly and is a vibrant, exciting and dynamic place to learn and work.

We are seeking to recruit an IT Technician to help run, manage and develop our ever-growing technology infrastructure. We are looking for a forward-thinkin, enthusiastic, creative person who would enjoy the challenge of solving IT issues. The role will involve IT resource management, trouble shooting, server and network maintenance.

The successful applicant will:

· be familiar with working with networks and computers

· understand how to manage IT resources

· understand and maintain a knowledge of current hardware and software

· have strong organisational skills, the ability to work independently and prioritise effectively
