37 hours per week Monday - Thursday 8.00 am - 4.00 pm
Friday 8.00 am - 3.30 pm
Term time plus 1 week.
Salary range: LGS level 4 point 6-7 £19,171 to £19,554 p.a
Actual pro-rata salary: £16,913 to £17,251 pa
The successful candidate will be required to provide effective and efficient technician support to the Science Department. They must be friendly, flexible and enthusiastic and possess the ability to work in a team whilst having excellent innovative and problem solving skills. Experience of working with young people in an area related to this subject is essential as is having a subject related qualification or equivalent gained through substantial relevant work experience.

Chase High School is a mixed, mainstream secondary school located in Westcliff-on-Sea
, near Southend, Essex. It educates more than 1,000 students aged 11-18 from over 40 countries. Since 2011, the school has had a sixth form.
Chase High School was built more than 100 years ago and recently secured academy status under the Discovery Educational Trust. The secondary school continues to be involved in the community, forging local and international partnerships
