Key Stage one post
Would you like to join our fabulous, friendly and dynamic team? We are a rural Church of England primary school with big ideas. As a small village, one form entry, primary we are looking for people who can use their initiative and wear many hats.
We care about offering our staff team excellent CPD and close links with a range of schools as part of the Tendring Teaching Schools Alliance. We are part of trust of schools all working hard together to share best practice and ideas. We have a sister school at Weeley and work closely together to support each other including sharing an executive head teacher.
We are looking for a teacher to join us, who is excited to help us achieve even better outcomes for our amazing children.
We are looking for a team player who is excited to take on a whole school responsibility and who would like to be supported into middle and then senior leadership. We like to grow our own leaders, but would consider supporting someone who is in their first few years of teaching. We would like to grow our Key Stage one experience and so are looking for someone who has a background in key stage one and an understanding of phonics and the year two assessment system.
Can you give us;
Dedication, enthusiasm and commitment
A good knowledge of key stage one including the curriculum, phonics and assessment
A desire to be research led in their practice
Team work and a commitment to self-development
A good level of numeracy, grammar and literacy
Effective communication skills
Potential of future middle/senior leadership
