We are looking for a teacher to join our school from 01 September 2019 to cover a maternity leave. Ofsted recently (February 2019) described our school as a "happy, purposeful and welcoming learning community."
The successful candidate will have a passion for children's learning, will be able to demonstrate a commitment to ensuring that all children make good or better progress based on their starting points and teaching will be judged as good or better overall. If you are passionate about learning and teaching and able to demonstrate a commitment to inclusive practice we would love to hear from you. We offer excellent CPD for all staff, both in school and out of school and we have been recognised as an Investors in People organisation since 2007. This school is proud to be a Quality Lead school for Achievement for All and teachers work in partnership with parents through this programme to support children to meet their personalised targets.
Visits to the school are strongly encouraged as this will give you an opportunity to learn more about our school and decide whether this is the right place for you. The interview process will involve teaching and a formal interview.

Information about the School
Acorn Academy is a large infant school with three classes in each year group and the added benefit of a nursery and a specialist speech and language provision.
