An exciting opportunity has arisen for the key role of Deputy Headteacher at our school. We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, forward thinking, ambitious leader, who will proactively demonstrate strong skills and inspire staff. Barons Court Primary School and Nursery is an 'Outstanding' (March 2017) one form entry primary school who have recently been accredited with Teaching School status. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively across our strong primary school alliance to gain valuable experience to aid progression to Headship.
We have created exciting open learning spaces both inside and outside which enhance exploration and discovery and our pupils are happy and enthusiastic children with a real thirst for learning. The successful candidate will play an active role in the leadership, management and development of our successful learning community to ensure continued success for both our school and the teaching school alliance.
The successful candidate appointed to the role of Deputy Headteacher will:
Have regular teaching commitments in Key Stage 2 as part of their role.
Model exceptionally strong practice in all areas of teaching, learning, assessment and leadership.
Be a committed and dedicated teacher who supports all children throughout the school to achieve their best.
Be a highly motivated and innovative professional who can inspire colleagues and lead through teamwork.
Have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work and communicate effectively with the whole of our dedicated school community.
Help enhance our school curriculum to ensure creative and innovative ways to inspire all pupils with a love of learning.
